We awoke to another perfect day. The water was totally flat. This is the most peaceful, quiet place you can be. I could stay here forever if the groceries weren't so expensive.
Richard went fishing early in the morning. He was very successful and was home by 11:00. He hooked 7 tarpon and managed 2 to the boat. He also went bone fishing and got 4 hooked and got one in. Both of these are not for eating. He releases them.
After doing my morning work, I started painting again. We are finally finished with the walls and are now working on the trim. It looks great and will be totally finished soon. I may be changing my mind about painting the kitchen cabinets white. Painting is just not what it is cooked up to be. It should be called work.
After lunch we took our bikes to "town". We went to the bank and grocery store. The bike ride was very warm so we enjoyed the time at the air conditioned bank. They keep it good and cold in there.
Once home from the store, we started painting again. We only have two weeks and a few days left here. No matter how long one is here, it is hard to leave.
Dear Carolyn,
ReplyDeleteI just the entire blog. Please invite us to join you next winter! We will paint! We will move rocks. We will water the coconut trees. We will hang the sheets to dry. We will check on the gecko and the turtle. We will help you snorkel and help Richard fish. PLEASE!

Dear Jeannine,
DeleteYes, please come visit us here. You will love it, I promise. We will let you know when we will be coming next year. This year we are here for 6 weeks. Maybe 7 weeks next year. Richard is not retired yet. Darn. He does some work on line here.
