It is almost 11:00 at night and I am finally typing my blog. This was the Academy Awards tonight so we went to Southern Cross Club. They do a big party and decorate. They had a VERY fancy buffet and we ate under the stars (not celebrity stars). People dress in very formal wear. Men, only a couple, even wore Tuxes. There was a red carpet to enter on and they give awards. The coveted Golden Conch Awards were presented by Peter Hildebrand. We had a good time.
I spent a lot of time on our beach today. Richard and I went snorkeling this afternoon, but the water was pretty rough. The wind came up around 1:00 and it was amazing how quick it affected the water. We got a picture of a fat barracuda. He was hovering pretty close to shore.
This day is done. We are getting ready for bed as we must be ready for another day in paradise tomorrow.
