Parade entry.Another perfect day on the island. Totally lovely. We got an early start on our painting project. We want to get this over with. It is looking great. We worked very hard until 3:00 and then quickly got cleaned up for the Mardi Gras celebration.
The parade was very good. Each resort entered a float and then there was judging afterwards. The theme for the floats this year was The Royal something (I can't remember exactly). It was really a lot of fun. Of course, the food was fabulous. The band was called Hi Tide. Two of the guys are from Cayman Brac and the other from Grand Cayman. We bought one of their CD's.
There was about 50 to 60 people there. After dinner more showed up to listen to the band and have a drink. It was fun to see everyone.
Tomorrow is supposed to be super calm waters so we want to go snorkeling for sure. I don't know how much painting will get accomplished.
