Here is a picture of Richards bike set up to pull his kayak. It is quite a system.This morning we woke with great anticipation. We knew there would be no painting! Another perfect day to enjoy. Every single day perfect is just hard to imagine let alone live it. I felt very relaxed.
Richard took off fishing and had a successful time. I washed the sliding glass door and one bathroom window and the bathroom blinds and put them back up. Then I proceeded to move rocks. It was so wonderful to work outside again. Moving rocks is my weight lifting workout here. It is good for the soul.
After lunch I worked for awhile and Richard put new screen on the entry screen door and fixed the chain saw. While he cut some trees I laid in my hammock to read. Time flies, it was time to get cleaned up for Wet Your Whistle Wednesday. We left a little early to pick up a few items at the store again first. There were a lot of people at SCC for WYWW. It was so much fun to visit with everyone.
There is talk that soon we will be allowed to use a golf cart here on the island. That would be perfect here. We are very excited. We would all get together as a group to order them to save money on the barge shipment.
Saturday there is a big island clean up planned. Forty four people are signed up to help. There will be a barbecue lunch at Point 'O Sand for all the hard workers. We are glad to be here and get the chance to help with this.
